Submissions
New London Librarium is looking for fiction and nonfiction about eastern Connecticut or by eastern Connecticut authors. The publisher is looking for books that should be published, not books that will necessarily sell well. The quality of the writing, the accuracy of facts, and the importance of the content are the qualities that New London Librarium is looking for.
In that sales tend to be local or regional, authors are expected to do most of the marketing of their books.
All manuscripts are professionally edited and fact-checked.
Authors with finished works should send an email of about one page describing their work, explaining why it should be published, and, in the case of nonfiction, the foundation of its facts. If the work is meets the abovementioned criteria, authors will be asked to send sample chapters or an entire work. If the work meets preliminary approval, the author will be asked submit a marketing plan and other information.
